You will need
- 1 tin of chickpeas (buy peas in water and drain)
- 3 raw beetroot
- 6 tbsp tahini paste
- 50ml chilled water
- 2 lemons, juiced
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Simmer one tin of chickpeas in water for 15mins, steam chunks of raw peeled beetroot at the same time. Drain and pop in the blender. Add 6 tbsp raw tahini paste until quite smooth, add 50ml chilled water until smooth then add juice of two lemons and 2 crushed garlic cloves. Blend again.
- Lasts in the fridge for about 5 days, pour a layer of extra Virgin olive oil on top to keep fresh. Enjoy! #cleaneating #eatclean #hummus#kidseatveggiestoo #lunchboxideas #dip
